Due to the recent alarming attacks on anyone assiociating with pokemon, Rangers are being trained as Pokemon Police. They use their stylers to calm wild pokemon and pokemorphs alike. Their partner pokemon can be anything, after they graduate, but for now, these unevolving pokemon are their starters. They graduate from the Academy by going on missions, and once they graduate, they are assigned to different towns, sometimes given missions outside of it.
